ART BRUT Thailand

Inspired by Jean Dubuffet’s concept of "Raw Art," ART BRUT Thailand champions unfiltered, authentic creativity outside the mainstream art world. The movement platforms self-taught creators, senior citizens, and artists with disabilities or autism, prioritizing raw emotion and personal storytelling over formal training.

The initiative gained international acclaim through the landmark "Thailand and Japan ART BRUT" exhibition at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, showcasing over 50 artists. Today, ART BRUT Thailand continues to foster inclusion and challenge stereotypes through exhibitions and workshops, empowering diverse voices to share their stories with the world.

NAPHATRA BANGKOK

At NAPHATRA Bangkok, we deeply value the creativity and courage of autism artists. Their Art Brut works speak with a clarity and sincerity that reshapes how we see beauty—each mark a personal language, each composition a life lived fully. We honor these expressions by bringing them into our premium skincare and aromatherapy offerings with care, respect, and intention.

When an artist’s work is chosen, we ensure it is presented with dignity: clear credit, thoughtful storytelling when desired, and faithful reproduction that preserves the original spirit. Compensation is always fair and transparent—upfront fees, licensing, and royalties where appropriate—so artists and their families share in the tangible benefits of their creativity.

Collaborations

Our collaborations are built on listening and adaptability. We work closely with artists, caregivers, and community partners to create accessible, supportive processes—schedules, sensory accommodations, and communication methods tailored to each person’s needs. Beyond payments, we invest in development: workshops, mentorship, materials, and opportunities for broader exposure that help artists grow sustainable practices and reach new audiences.

Featuring Art Brut in our products is a form of advocacy. Packaging becomes a platform for visibility, inviting customers to learn about neurodiversity and to appreciate art beyond conventional expectations. A share of proceeds supports community programs, studio space, and educational initiatives so impact extends past the product itself.
